He studied Economy at the University of Santiago de Compostela and specialized in Tax Law.
He participated in the nationalist student movement, taking part in the organs of the Faculty of Economy on several occasions.
He was elected secretary general of Galiza Nova in 2000 and filled this office until 2004.
He is also a foundation member of the Free Aliance Europe Youth, European organization consisting of youth organizations from ten countries of the European Union.
He also took an active part in different assembly debates of the Xunta de Galicia.
Nowadays, he is a member of the BNG national council and director general responsible for youth and solidarity at the ‘Vicepresidencia da Igualdade e do Benestar’ - Xunta de Galicia.
