He studied Philosophy at the University of Santiago and the Complutense University in Madrid and Information Sciences at the Complutense University too.

From 1976 to 1986, he worked at a teacher at the CES Numen, a centre associated to the Open University in Madrid.

In 1986 he began to work at La Voz de Galicia. He opened the first delegation of this newspaper in Lalín, where he was delegate of La Voz and director of Radio Voz and Onda Cero until 2000. Since then, he has been working as communication director at Pontevedra County Council.

He worked “El Comentario de Textos, asimilación y sentido crítico”; “A prensa da emigración, Fomento de la Instrucción Galega”, (joint author) and “Los centros de la emigración pontevedresa en Buenos Aires”.

He participated in several radio talk shows and published Works and studies in specialized magazines and Galician newspapers.
