He took a doctor’s degree in Chemestry. He is the general secretary of the National Association of Tinned Fish Manufacturers (ANFACO), director general of the National Centre for Fishing Products Preservation (CECOPESCA), secretary general of FEICOPESCA, editor of the magazine ‘Industria Conservera’, secretary of Tuna Organization INTERATÚN, president of EUROATÚN, president of the Sardina Pilchardus International Committee (CISAP) and honorary consul of Poland in Galicia.
