Curriculum

He took a degree in Theology at Santiago de Compostela University and he was ordained as a priest very soon. Since he was young, he filled the office of priest and organist in the cathedral. In 1856, he got the post of organist at Mondoñedo's cathedral until 1860 that he moved to Santiago's cathedral. In 1882, he began to work as a Music teacher at the Music School of the Economical Society, teaching Piano and Harmony Elements until the beginning of the 20th century. He dedicated the rest of his life to the service of the cathedral.
