He studied Music at the Conservatoire of A Coruña and graduated in Singing with Professor Antón de Santiago in 2001, taking the best qualifications and extraordinary prize. He attended master singing classes with important figures like Marimí del Pozo, Helena Lazarska, Ana Luisa Chova and María Bayo, repertoire with Alejandro Zabala and Istvar Cerjan, scenic performance with Emilio Sagi and choral conducting with Javier Busto, Gorka Sierra and Julio Domínguez. He works the staging of 'Misa de Jazz' with Scott Stroman, conductor, composer and Professor of the Guildhall School of London and 'Gospel', 'Gloria' RV 589 by A. Vivaldi and 'El Mesías' by G.F.Händel with pupils and techers of the Music School of A Coruña.

 Work & Activities


As a soloist member of ‘Ofelia Nieto’ Lyric Group and ‘Magnificat’ Group, he carried out many performances and opera, zarzuela and religious music recitals in each tour all around the most important stages of our region: "Dido y Eneas" by H. Purcell, “El Barberillo de Lavapiés” by Barbieri, "La del Manojo de Rosas" by P. Sorozábal, “La Gran Vía” by Chueca, "Stabat Mater" by Boccherini, "El Mesías" by G. F. Händel, "Le Roi David" by Honnegger and  “Petite Messe Solennelle” by Rossini.

He usually collaborates as a soloist in the Opera Festival and Mozart Festival in A Coruña under the baton of famous conductors and with the most important names of the lyric figures.

He made for the University of A Coruña the premiere of Pedro Madruga, main character of “Inés e Bianca”, the opera composed by Marcial del Adalid in the 19th century. The Xunta de Galicia reintegrated and published the opera in 2007.

He has taught Music in several centres and from 1998 up to date he has been teaching singing and conducting the choir of A Coruña Music School. He usually gives courses and seminars on Singing and Vocal Technique both for choirs and students of singing. He has been the assistant choirmaster of ‘El Eco’ Choral Society and choirmaster of ‘El Echo’ Children Choral Society and Sta. María del Mar Choir. He also taught vocal technique in A Coruña University Choir and ‘Madrigalia’ Chamber Choir.

He is also the choirmaster of ‘Cantabile’ Children Choir since it was founded. This group was awarded many distinctions for the great technical and musical quality. The group has participated in many concerts, tours, events and opera festivals (“La Dolores”, “Tosca”, “Carmen” and “La Boheme”). The group has two records: “Cantabile”, with a choral repertory, and “Vivaldi” devoted to the sacred work of this composer, with an orchestra made up of teachers of the Galician Symphonic Orchestra. They recorded the sound track of “De Profundis”, a film by Miguel Anxo Prado and Nani García, together with the Galician Symphonic Orchestra. They participated in the International Polyphony Contest in Pesaro (October 2004) and went on a tour all around Austria (September 2005), carrying out their performances at St. Stephen's Cathedral (Vienna), Altenburg Abbey and Franciscan Monastery in Salzburg and Casa de España in Lisbon (2007). In 2008 they got the third prize at ‘Antonio José’ National Choir Contest in Burgos.
