Curriculum

He was a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Santiago University and then in Madrid. He was one of the most famous gynaecologists in Spain. He started his education in Santiago and improved his studies abroad, especially in Germany. He stood out as a surgeon, especially having a good knowledge of the vaginal techniques and particularly those of fistulas. The gynaecologist Alejandro Otero was his pupil.
