He had several jobs since he was young. He liked reading very much and was a cultured person although he did not study Secondary Education. He was a friend of Luis Seoane, who made a portrait of him in 1931. Some of his articles and stories were collected in the magazines 'Nós', 'Yunque' and the Saturday supplement of the newspaper La Noche (1949).
He wrote several novels in Spanish, which were left unpublished such as Zambulón, mundo cerrado that was finalist at 'Nadal' Prize in 1949.
