He was awarded the following prizes and distinctions:
-2004: Andreas Stihl 1st consolation prize (Madrid) and 1st sculpture consolation prize, Arte Burela (Lugo).

-2005: 3rd sculpture prize, Ministry responsible for public works.

-2005: Honourable mention, Ministry responsible for public works.

-2005: He was awarded the first prize at Meigas e Trasgos Sculpture Biennial Exhibition (Sarria).

-2006: Two of her works were selected to participate in the 14th edition of the Collective Painting and Sculpture Exhibition of Cangas del Morrazo.

-2006: He was selected to participate in the 8th edition of José Lapayesé International Art Contest and presented works for an itinerant exhibition in Teruel.
