He started his professional activity as a woodcarver, specialising in religious images. Since he was very young, he participated in the syndical movement and he organised the Local Federation of working Societies in Santiago when he was only fifteen. During that time, he collaborated in the foundation of the magazines 'Solidaridad Obrera' and 'Despertad'. He was the president of the Association of Carpenters and one of the historical leaders of the anarcho-syndicalism in Galicia. In 1931, he moved to a Coruña and became one of the leaders of the 'CNT', the anarchist syndicate. He was nominated as secretary of the Galician Regional Confederation and constituted the National Federation of the Fishing Industry. When the Civil War broke out, he was arrested and taken to prison by fascists, who demanded him to collaborate with their syndicate. He refused and was shot in 1936.
