After studying with master Montenegro, he was instructor at ‘La Oliva’ Choral Society in Vigo, which had been founded in 1885, and started to conduct it in 1900. In 1909, he organised and conducted the choral society of the Agricultural Society of Teis. In 1911, he travelled with his family to Buenos Aires and conducted the Galician Choral Society. The Spanish-Argentinean Choral Society was founded in 1916 and he began to conduct it.

 Other Interesting Aspects

In 1920, he gave a concert in the prison of Buenos Aires, conducting the Galician Choral Society to commemorate the centenary of Concepción Arenal.
