He is a teacher and has been writing since 1993, mainly novel and historical research in both Galician and Castilian. He has written the following books: La del veintiuno (historical novel about the Army from 1800 to 1810, Montbars, o anxo exterminador (novel about piracy), O bandido Casanova (‘Pastor Díaz’ Novel Prize, 1999, Xerais), the research work Os náufragos da Galicia Norte (‘Lea’ Publications, 2003), La Galerna de 1961 (worked on Investigación pesqueira) and Matrícula de Bilbao, a research work about big ships from Bilbao). He has also published articles in several magazines.
