Curriculum

She graduated in Architecture at the Technical College of Architecture in A Coruña, specialising in Building and Town Planing. She attended managerial courses organised by the Xunta de Galicia and the National Institute of Public Administration. She works as a civil servant in the Body of Architects of the Public Finance. She is a member of the staff of Santiago University. She filled the office of provincial delegate at 'Consellería de Cultura, Comunicación Social e Turismo' of the Xunta de Galicia in Pontevedra and 'Conselleira de Familia, Xuventude, Deporte e Voluntariado'. She was elected deputy in representation of Pontevedra in the autonomical elections of 2001 and 2005. She is the President of Galician Parliament since April 2009.
