In 1918, he got a job as anatomical sculptor at the Faculty of Medicine in Santiago. In 1919, he installed a sculpture workshop. He taught many sculptures during his job as a teacher at the Technical School in Santiago de Compostela.
One of his most important works was the carving of St Francis, which was ordered by the Convent itself. He won the First Medal at the National Exhibition with this work. He also won the Second Medal with his work O Tesouro. We can mention other important works such as Picariña, Filliña, Naiciña, Virgen de Tanxil and Cristo de Moyá. He also made works for American countries such as La Virgen de los Desamparados (1949) for Buenos Aires.
