She moved to Lugo when she was very young. Shortly after, she married Cándido Real and founded a pub called ‘El Cascabel’ in A Coruña. When she returned to Lugo in 1951, she and her husbands took charge of a pub called ‘La Lucense’, usually known as ‘Verruga’, because the previous owner had a big wart in his face. Some years later, it turned into a famous restaurant, which is still run by the same family. Her daughter Miluca together with Luis Latorre, her husband, goes on with the tradition.
