He was an expert in broadcasting. He was a member of the Association of Galician Journalists.

 Work & Activities

He worked at ‘Cadena SER’ (Santiago) until 1986. He also worked at ‘Radio Gallega’. From 1992 to 1994, he presented and directed two programmes on Galician TV: ‘Na casa’ and ‘Galicia Enteira’. He was the author of the interviews on the ‘Radio Gallega’ and the Galician TV international channel titled ‘Os Almorzos no Hostal’.

He was awarded the following prizes: Third National Journalism Prize, the National Lottery Patronage (1995), the prize of the Association of Galician Consumers, Civil Guard Prize (1999) for a report in the programme ‘O Miradoiro’ on the ‘Radio Gallega’, titled ‘A Garda Civil no Camiño de Santiago’, ‘ONCE galegos da solidariedade’ Prize (1999), Second ‘Álvaro Cunqueiro’ National Gastronomic Journalism Prize (2001) for his work 50 anos de gastronomía and First National Journalism Prize (radio) in the fourth edition of TIFLOS Journalism Awards (2001) for the programme ‘O Miradoiro da integración’.
