He moved with her parents to Galicia shortly after her birth. She showed her interest for culture since she was very young, which made her create ‘Meigas e Trasgos’ Cultural Centre in Sarria in 1972. Dance groups, pipers, choral society, literature, painting and dance contests were created in this centre and due to the great amount of activities a new building was created. The building includes a museum, a lecture room and an amphitheatre to stage the famous dance ‘noite meiga’.
