From 1977 to 1993, he collaborated as a photographer in several newspapers and magazines such as 'Man Común', A nosa Terra, El País, 'Agencia Cover', 'Cambio 16', 'Vogue', 'Elle', 'Telva', 'Geo', 'Visa Oro', 'Feinsmeicker', Die Spiegel, El Mundo and La Vanguardia. In 1986, he was nominated as chief of photography in the newspaper La Voz de Galicia and coordinator of the agency 'Voz Noticias'. In 1996, he became editor-in-chief in the same newspaper. In 1999, he became art director and was the editor-in-chief responsible for documentation and files in La Voz de Galicia. Today he is a self-employed photographer and collaborates in El País and Getty images.
