He studied Journalism in Barcelona and took his degree in the Faculty of Communication Sciences at Bellaterra University (Barcelona). He started his journalistic activity at 'EAJ-1 Radio Barcelona', where he spent seven years. He left the radio station 'Cadena SER' and worked as producer of the program 'Protagonistas ' by Luis del Olmo. He also worked in other radio stations such as 'Radio Peninsular' and 'Radio Nacional' in Barcelona, 'Radio Sahara' in El Aaiún (during the military service in Africa) and 'Radio Nacional' in A Coruña and Santiago. In 1985, he founded the Galician radio station 'Radio Galega' and collaborated to start Galician TV, where he presented popular programmes.

 Work & Activities

He wrote several books such as Prensa e Radio na Galicia Exterior; Camariñas, terra de palilleiras, Cento Catorce Cancións Galegas and Historia da Radio en Galicia. Besides, he made over a hundred songs in Galician language and many speeches and lectures. He usually collaborates in the newspaper El Correo Gallego.

 Other Interesting Aspects

He was vice-president of the Press Association in A Coruña. He is a yacht skipper and vice-president of the Nautical Club in Camariñas and member of the Galician Sailing Federation. He is also member of the Spanish Federation of Radio and TV Associations.
