He is an expert on Communication Electronics (Vigo, 1984). He took a degree in Journalism (Santiago de Compostela University, 1995) and a doctor's degree in Audiovisual Communication ('Complutense' University, 2000). He also attended a course on Didactic Methodology to train Educators (1997) and the Course of Pedagogic Aptitude at Santiago University (1997).

 Work & Activities

He was a Professor of Audiovisual Communication and Advertising in the Faculty of Advertising and Public Relation (Pontevedra) (1999/2000, 2000/2001 and 2001/2002). During the period 2001/2002-2002/2003, he gave the doctorate course 'Realización y producción audiovisual. De la Electromecánica a la Multimedia' at Vigo University. During the course 2000/2001, he was a professor of Audiovisual Communication at 'Maia' Institute in Oporto-Portugal. In August 2001, he travelled to Mexico by means of a scholarship to Monterrey's Technological Institute to teach Videofilm and Multimedia Production. He directed the programmes A tumba aberta, A toda máquina, Velaí, Unha de romanos, O tesouro (Ánxel Fole), Chambo, Comediantes and Vivir en Manhattan on Galician TV. From 1990 to 1994, he was the production manager of news and sport programmes and coordinated the creative department of graphic design in 1996. From 1987 to 2001, he carried out electoral, sport, informative, musical and institutional programmes.

 Other Interesting Aspects

He also carried out advertising campaigns and research projects at 'Filgueira Valverde' Professorship (2000-2001). He was awarded 'OP-ART' Prize to the best programme on Galician TV for A Tumba Aberta (1987), 'TP' Prize to the best musical programme for A toda máquina (1988) and 'AGAPI' Prize to the best TV Production for Chambo (1999).
