He took a degree in Galician-Portuguese Philology at the University of Santiago de Compostela and was one of the founders of 'Costa da Morte' Literary Battalion and the editorial staff of 'Letras da Cal' poetry collection. Nowadays, he is one the board of directors of the Association of Writers in Galician Language and is a member of the executive committee of the group 'Nunca Máis'.

He published the following poetry books: Liques da memoria (Caixa Galicia, 1993), O devalo do mar (edition of the author, 1994), No mesmo espacio (Dragón Publications, 1995), A sotavento dunha singradura (Espiral Maior, in the collection 'A illa verde', 1995), O tributo da tarde (Toxosoutos Publications, 1997), Casa ou sombra (Xerais, 1997), Illa dentro (Edition in the Internet, 1998), Ícaro (Ediçoes Tema, 1999, Retagarda Edicións, 2000) and Días de Sherezade (Espiral Maior, 2000).
