He took a degree and a doctor's degree in Philosophy and Education Sciences (Pedagogy). He is a Professor in the Didactics Department and School Organization, secretary and coordinator of the doctorate programs of the Department of Didactics and School Organization at Santiago de Compostela University. He has given classes focussing on his three basic lines of investigation: school organization, group techniques in education and analysis of the didactic communication.

 Work & Activities

He wrote the book La Comunicación relacional y la interacción profesor-alumno (Granada, 1999) and several chapters for other books: 'Dinámica de grupos y animación sociocultural: Orientaciones para la intervención del animador' in Fundamentos de Animación Sociocultural (Madrid, 1985); in collaboration with Zabalza, M. A.: La comunicación en las instituciones escolares' in Organizaciones Educativas (Madrid, 1989). He published articles in national and international magazines and took part in conferences with texts related to his three basic lines of specialisation.

 Other Interesting Aspects

He got an extraordinary prize for his degree (1981-82) and for his doctor's degree (1997-98). From 1988 to 1994, he was the secretary of the Pedagogy section in the Faculty of Philosophy and Education Sciences at Santiago de Compostela University.
