He studied Secondary Education in Barcelona and Medicine in Madrid and Barcelona. In 1960, he took his degree at Barcelona University. He specialized in Traumatology and Orthopaedics in Germany (Evang Krankenhaus in Vaiser-Lauter). He also worked at Kateim Hospital in Stuttgart until 1968 (Tubingem University). From 1970 to 1980, he was clinical chief at 'Valle de Hebrón' Hospital in Barcelona. From 1971 to 1989, he was the head of the traumatology service in Barcelona Football Club. Since 1988 up to now, he has been the head of the traumatology service at the Clinic-Foundation Fiatc (Barcelona).

 Work & Activities

While he was studying Medicine, he played basketball in the following clubs: Barcelona F.C. and Real Madrid. He also belonged to the National Basketball team for seven years.
