Curriculum

He studied Secondary Education at 'León XIII' School in Vilagarcía de Arousa (Pontevedra). He took a degree in Law at Santiago de Compostela University (1952). He entered the Syndical Organisation as a lawyer of social sections and was nominated as provincial vice-secretary of social order of the Syndical Organisation in Lugo in 1963. He filled the following offices: Professor at the Syndical School in Lugo, head of the Department of Local Political Action, secretary of the charitable provincial committee of Lugo, Professor of Labour Law during the academic year 1966-67 at the Seminary of Social Studies in Lugo, lawyer of the charitable committee of Lugo, vice-president of the Syndical Agrarian Chamber of Lugo, lawyer of the Syndical Organisation, lawyer of the Ministry of Labour in Lugo, provincial delegate of the 'Consellería de Agricultura' in Lugo (from 1st May 1983 to 26th June 1985) and secretary of the provincial delegation of the 'Consellería de Sanidad' (from July 1987 to July 1989). It was in 1989 that he retired. He has been a member of the Bar Association of Lugo since 1957.
