He studied at the Conservatoire of Ferrol and the Higher Conservatoire of Vigo, where he got an extraordinary prize and studied with Professor Nicasio Gradaille. During this time he also attended classes at the University of Alcalá de Henares with Ferenc Rádos.

He broadened his studies at Zoltán Kodály Institute of Kecskémet with Orsolya Szabó, at Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest with Rita Wagner and András Kemenes (2000-03), at Mozarteum University in Salzburg with Imre Rohmann (2003-06) and at Tchaikovsky Conservatoire in Moscow with Elisso Wirssaladze (2006-07), direct pupil of H. Neuhaus (Pablo Galdo was the first and only Galician musician who studied in this centre). He also got a grant to study at Oberlin Conservatoire in Ohio (USA) with Professor Haewon Song during the summer of 2008.

He has also improved his studies with worldwide prestigious musicians such as Alicia de Larrocha, Zoltán Kocsis, Tamás Vasáry, Dimitri Bashkirov, Varjon Denes, Heinz Kammerling, Mitsuko Uchida, Alexei Volodin, Jasha Katsnelson, Marta Gulyás and Almudena Cano, among others.

 Work & Activities

He has offered many concerts all around Spain, France, United Kingdom, Island, China, South Korea, Russia, Slovenia, Croatia, Finland, Latvia, Estonia, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Sultanate of Oman, Italy, Lithuania and USA. In 2010, he will make his début at Carnegie Hall in New York.

He participated in cycles of young performers of “Juventudes musicales” (1997, 1998), Teresa Berganza Association (1999), Young Talents in Budapest (2001) Pedro Barrié de la Maza Foundation (2004) and Juan March Foundation (2007).

He recorded a CD with works by Bach, Chopin and Schumann and a DVD with works by Albéniz, Liszt and Rachmaninoff. He has performed his works with different orchestras in Spain, Hungary and Austria and has been finalist and awarded prizes in several contests.

He was awarded a scholarship by the Hungarian Foreign Office, the Spanish Agency of International Cooperation, Caixa Galicia Foundation and AIE Association.

As a Professor, he has given masterly classes at the National Academy of Island, in the Sultanate of Oman, at the Academy of Vilnius (Lithuania) and at the Music Academy of Estonia.

At the moment, he keeps on his concert activity and teaches piano at the Music Conservatoire of Vigo.
