He took a degree in Painting at 'San Carlos' Faculty of Fine Arts in Valencia. In 1985, he enjoyed a scholarship in El Paular (Segovia). He studied Serigraphy at the Technical School in Lugo and Chalcographic Engraving at 'Menéndez Pelayo' University in A Coruña. He attended doctorate courses at Vigo University and works as a Drawing teacher at 'Lucus Augusti' Secondary School in Lugo. He enjoyed a scholarship in O Barco de Valdeorras and the company 'Unión Fenosa'. He started to make individual exhibitions in his native city when he was nineteen. When he was twenty-two, he had already carried out ten individual exhibitions all over Spain, including an exhibition at 'Meliá' Hotel in Madrid. He chose Lugo as his favourite city to work and develop his work. He took part in several collective exhibitions all over Europe and America. He is famous for his paintings about Galician customs and manners, landscapes and big murals.

 Other Interesting Aspects

He got ten painting prizes in several contests in Galicia and Valencia, including 'Ciudad de Lugo' Painting Prize in 1996. He founded 'La Espeteira' Group and the Association of Artists together with other artists of the city. He combines his artistic activity with sculpture and wood and clay modelling. He takes part as a member of several painting and drawing contests.
