María Dolores Pereira Oliveira


 Curriculum

She took a degree in Geography and History at the University of Santiago de Compostela in 1982 and specialized in Archive Management at the Archive School of the “Archivos del Reino de Galicia” in 1990.
In 1992, she became archivist of Oleiros City Council after a public competition. Three years later, she joined the Archivist Corps of the Xunta de Galicia. She directs the Historical Archives in Lugo, where she designs and directs the programmes for the organization and description of the funds.

 Work & Activities

She has published 28 works, some of them in collaboration with other authors. Since 1993, she has collaborated as a teacher in the courses on archives organized by the EGAP for civil servants of the Xunta de Galicia. She has been collaborating since 2005 in the INAP and also gives courses on archives for the University of Santiago de Compostela, the FEGAS and ANABAD-Galicia. She also coordinated the programmes of scholarships for the organization of Archives of the Xunta de Galicia in A Coruña, Ourense and Lugo (1994-1999) and supervises the training period of pupils of the University of Santiago in the Historical Archives of Lugo.
She is a member of ANABAD-Galicia and is also the vice-president of the association at the moment. She participates in the activities of the working party of Galician local archivists (1991-1995), in the working party of Galician archivists since it was created in 2001, in the working party of the Ministry of Culture for the application of the ISAD (G) (2001-2003) and in the working party of the Spanish Historical Archives of the Ministry of Culture since it was created in 2006.
