She felt her passion for music since she was a girl. His father was also a fado singer. She has been recognised for her international solid career and was awarded a decoration as an ambassador of Galician culture in the world, she has also the fado as an essential inspiration. In 2001, she was invited to take part in the first big posthumous homage to Amalia Rodrigues, the person who most influenced his way of singing.

CAREER 1996: Interceltic Festival of Loriant. 1997: Frankfurter Concert Tour. 1998: She sang for the José Saramago (Nobel Prize winner) in Santiago de Compostela. 2000: Homage to Amalia Rodrigues in the Coliseum of Lisbon. 2001: Homage to Carlos Cano, Teatro Falla (Cádiz) and Tour in Italy: Nuoro and Sassari. 2004: She recorded a CD with the Royal Band as a gift for the Prince and Princess of Asturias. 2004: She participated in the recording of a CD for PAIDEIA Foundation ("Ese niño diferente"), in a concert against genre violence in Algeria, in the distinction event ‘gallegos del año’ in the Auditorium of Santiago de Compostela and travelled to Rome to sing the Ave Maria by Franz Shubert to the Pope Juan Pablo II with the Royal Pipe Band of Ourense. PRIZES: In 2000, she was elected member of the ‘Enxebre Orden da Vieira’ in Lisbon for her contribution to spread Galician culture. In 2004, she was awarded the “vieira de plata” for her artistic quality. That same year, El Correo Gallego gave her a plaque in the Auditorium of Santiago de Compostela for the best career.
