Together with the illustrator Xosé Tomás, he has contributed a charming literary character, the bird “Rodribico”. This character appears in a story collection published by "Baía Edicións" in 2010 and was awarded Isaac Díaz Pardo Literary Prize. The collection has been already translated into Spanish and Portuguese. He studied Law at the University of Santiago de Compostela and worked as a journalist in El Correo Gallego, El Orzán, El Ideal Gallego and La Voz de Galicia. Together with Siro López, he coordinated the humorous supplement “xatentendo.com” in 2000 and was awarded the “Codorniz de Plata” and the Xunta de Galicia Communication Prize.

 Work & Activities

Together with the journalist Ramón Barrena, he wrote "Los aparcacientos de Pacópolis". In 2008, he opened his blog "Al fondo a la derecha", published in the digital edition of La Voz de Galicia, which is a reference for students of Spanish at the University of Kentucky and the Molloy College in New York. In 2010, he made his debut as a scriptwriter of the short "Garabolis", directed by Alfredo Pardo. He was nominated to Pestre Mateo Audiovisual Award in 2011 and was finalist at the Cinema International Festival of Ourense.

"Rodribrico e a noite", one of the stories of Rodribrico Collection, was nominated for the final of Frei Martín Sarmiento Literary Prize. She collaborates in Radio Voz with a humour monologue in the programme “Corre Carmela que Chove". He also gives lectures and didactic workshops about journalism and the media, monologues, how to write a story and scripts for theatre, radio and TV.

In 2014 he published "En tu linea", a collection of 25 poems with two photographs for each poem the street lines.
