He graduated in Business Management at the INSIDE (Deusto University), High Management at the IESE (Navarra University) and European Communities at the Diplomatic School of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Since 1982, he has been the director general of the ‘Fundación Empresa-Universidad Gallega’ (FEUGA). He was the president and founder of BIC Galicia and member of the board of directors of several industrial and service companies. He is also the founder and member of the ‘CEPREDE (Centro de Predicción de Economía)’ and member of the board of directors of several international associations.
He has collaborated as a rapporteur and coordinator in conferences and international organizations. He is the author of several publications related to Industrial Organization and Technological Development.
He is a member of the ‘Patronato de la Fundación Santiago Apóstol de Ciencias Sociales’, ‘Consejo del Instituto de Análisis Alimentario’ (Santiago University) and ‘Consejo del Instituto de Investigación Neurológica’ (Santiago University). He speaks English, French, Italian, Portuguese and a bit of German.
