He took a doctor's degree in Romance Philology (Philosophy and Arts) and a degree in Information Sciences at 'Complutense' University in Madrid. He practised Journalism (correspondent in Paris and Rome, director, consultant, etc.) and Teaching for more than 25 years. He works as a Professor of Theory of Literature at 'San Pablo-Ceu' University. He was invited to foreign universities to give lectures and organise congresses and seminars. His activity is based now on the university field. He took part as a member of the panel in important prizes. He was also a literary critic, journalist, coordinator of cultural activities and director of documentation in the firms 'Campsa', 'Tabacalera', in the Tax Office, city councils and several ministries.

 Work & Activities

He has published over 30 books, some of them translated from French, Latin, Italian and English, all of them from classic and humanist writers. He wrote literary essays, novels (Diálogo con las sombras, Dos días antes y otras antiguallas, Memorias de un gato tonto, etc.), books of literary research (Para leer a Camilo José Cela) and others. He translated books by San Agustín, Erasmo, Vives, Petrarca, Maquiavelo, etc. in his library 'Leyes y Letras' (Bar Association in Madrid).

He filled the offices of president of the Galician Centre in Madrid, president of the Club of Galician Journalists in Madrid and president of the Federation of Press Associations.
