His father was the musician Pascual Veiga Iglesias. He was a pupil of the violinist Jesús de Monasterio. After finishing his career in 1888, he was successful as a soloist at 'Casino Republicano' in 1889. Besides, he carried out a very important activity as critic and writer of articles in the publication 'Ilustración Musical Hispano-Americana'. His article 'Algo sobre los cantos gallegos' (1894) was one of his most important articles.

 Work & Activities

As a composer, he published a collection of waltzes for piano titled Al vuelo and the melody for singing and piano ¡Fatalidad!.
