Curriculum

He graduated in Teaching (University of Santiago de Compostela).
In 1980, he affiliated to the old ‘Alianza Popular’ and collaborated closely with the party.
During the sessions of 1987, 1991 and 1995, he was deputy mayor of A Laracha, first representing ‘Alianza Popular’ and then ‘Partido Popular’.
He was the number one of the lists of ‘Partido Popular’ in the local elections of 1999. He won the elections by an absolute majority and became Mayor of Laracha.
Once again he won the elections of 2003 and 2007 by an absolute majority, combining both his offices of Mayor and provincial deputy.
