He had to immigrate to Argentina when he was very young and he was always linked to the activity of the Galician communities such as the Galician Centre and the institution of A Estrada in Buenos Aires.
He took a degree in Law and Social Sciences and worked as an attorney, lawyer and notary.
In 1998 he was elected president of the Emigration Council, which he gave up to exercise as deputy in the Galician Parliament.
He was nominated as manager director of Galicia Emigración Foundation on 24th July 2009.
He was elected “Honorary Citizen” of Valga.
