 2004-2009: Doctor’s degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Santiago de Compostela. Doctoral thesis: “Autotrophic nitrogen removal in sequencing batch reactors”.
1998-2003: Degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Santiago de Compostela. From March to October 2003 he carried out the final-year project at the Technische Universität Berlin (Germany): Institut für Verfahrenstechnik.
 
FOLLOW-UP COURSES
 2010: “Novel wastewater treatment concepts from The Netherlands”. He attended this course at the University of Delft visiting the water treatment plants (Anammox process, granular biomass and membrane reactors.
2004-2009: Practice collaborator in the Department of Chemical Engineering.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
-In November 2009 he got a contract from Aqualia for the carrying out of a research project at Lagares sewage works in Vigo.
-He enjoyed a scholarship of the Professor training programme of the Ministry of Education from 1st July 2005 to 31st March 2009. From 1st April 2007 to 31st March 2009 he was taken on by the University of Santiago de Compostela.
-From 2nd July 2004 to 30th June 2005 he worked as a technologist for the University of Santiago de Compostela.
