Curriculum

He studied Teaching in Pontevedra (1988) and took a degree in Geography and History at Santiago de Compostela University (1991). He took a doctor's degree in Contemporary History at Santiago de Compostela University (2000) with his doctoral thesis Los gallegos de Puerto Rico, 1821-1963: un proceso de formación de burguesía a ambos lados del Atlántico. He has been working as a teacher at 'PP Somarcos' School in A Guarda (Pontevedra) since 1989.
