After studying Secondary Education in Lugo, she took a degree in Law and graduated in Teaching (Galician Language). She worked as an assistant Professor at the Mercantile School of A Coruña and civil servant in the Linguistic Normalization Service (Consellería de Educación – Xunta de Galicia, Lugo). She has been an autodidact painter since her youth. In 1996, she joined the workshop ‘Artes Plásticas Luz Darriba’, carrying out a collective exhibition.
