He took a degree (1958)and a doctor's degree (1961) in Law. He worked as an assistant lecturer of Law Philosophy at Granada University, Professor at Santiago de Compostela University 81966), guest Professor at Toulousse, Coimbra, Prerugia, Braga and Havana Universities as well as the Catholic University of Chile and the Open University. He is a foundation member of 'Alfredo Brañas' Foundation and has been the president since 1990. He directed Edición do Centenario das Obras Completas de Alfredo Brañas (two volumes) and Colección Brañiana de novos estudios sobre Brañas, a collection of texts for the centenary of his birth (14 volumes until July 2000).
