He studied Linguistics and programming. He has been a Professor in the Translation and Linguistics Department at the University of Vigo since 1999.

 Work & Activities

He is the author of several research works regarding linguistics and translation studies. In 2000, he published ‘Introduçom à Linguística com Corpora’. He also created software for language industries such as ‘Conjugal’ for inflecting verbs, ‘Topogal’ for consulting toponyms and ‘Concordia’ for adapting texts to linguistic regulation.
