She studied Architecture in Madrid, specialising in Building and Town Planning in 1979. Since then, she has carried out several projects and reports until June 1982. It was then that she began to work as an architect in the Cadastre and Urban Evaluation Service, filling the office until 23rd November 1985. It was then that she entered the Corps of Architects in the Exchequer and worked in the Public Administration as head of the Service of Urban Inspection in the Tax Office in Lugo. From April 1986 to December 1988, she was the speaker of the Technical Meeting of Urban Coordination of Galicia. Since 1990, she has been a member of the Town Planning Commission of Lugo and representative member of the Exchequer in the Town-Planning Technical Report of Lugo until 1996. During that period, she also attended several courses on Town Planning and Real-State Valuations. She also collaborated and participated in the conferences organised by the Galician Association of Architects.
From 1979 to 1982, she carried out several architectonic and urban projects. From 1982 onwards, she has worked for the Administration, especially making reports to valuate the cadastral value of the urban real state in the province of Lugo, as well as reports, valuations and expert works for files related to Heritage, Compulsory Purchase, Town-planning, etc. She gave several courses and published the book Valoración de la Construcción (Escuela de Hacienda Pública, Madrid, 1989 and 1993).
