She graduated in Business Sciences at the University of Santiago de Compostela. In 1996, she began to work at Os Irmandiños Soc. Coop. Galega filling different offices. She is on leave since May 2009. At that moment, she was on the board of directors, being responsible for the Logistic and Sale Department.
 
Her first contact with politics was in 2007 with the Popular Party to take part in the list of the PP in Lourenzá. During the first session, she was responsible for Environment and Agriculture.
 
She took office as autonomic deputy in 2009 and now she is the president of the Commission for Agriculture, Food and Forestry and member of the Commission for Economy and Industry.
 
She forms part of the Commission for Agriculture of the Galician PP and participated in the elaboration of the Framework Programme of the Local Elections of 2011.
 
She forms part of the new corporation in Lourenzá, starting her activity as local representative and taking charge of the Agriculture, Health, and Social Matters Departments.
 
She is married and has two children.
