Professional development: -Teacher of Physical Education, both for Primary and Secondary Education, at different schools in Catalonia. -Collaborator in the structure and organization of the sports services at different town halls in Catalonia. -Professor of the department of Physical Education at the Autonomous University in Barcelona. -Professor of Physical Education at the Centres of Technical-sports Initiation within the General Secretary's Office for Sport of the Generalitat (the Catalan regional Government).

Political Posts: - Town Councillor within the party 'Partido Popular' at the City Hall of A Coruña. - Coordinator of the Sports Department at the County Council Offices of A Coruña, being Jose Manuel Romay Beccaría the President (1987-1989). - Assistant manager of the General Secretary Office for Sport of the Xunta de Galicia. - Vice-president of the National Sports Committee of the 'Partido Popular' since March 1994. - Member of the executive committee of the Sports Higher Council since 1999. He was secretary general of Sports in the Xunta de Galicia from 1991 to 2003. In 1998, he was given the silver medal to 'Sports Merit'. He is married and has four children.
