Dorinda Remedios studied Primary Education in A Coruña, where she lived since she was six until she was thirteen. She studied Teaching in Ourense and worked as a teacher in Teimende, Parada do Sil, Ourense, Larín, Arteixo and A Coruña. She married the teacher Antonio Rodríguez Vázquez and has two children, Antonio Alejo and Abelardo. Nowadays, she is a widow, she is retired and lives in Ourense.

 Work & Activities

Since she was young, she felt passion for Literature and started to publish articles in the newspaper La Noche in 1948. She also collaborated in the newspapers El Ideal Gallego, La Voz de Galicia, Vida Gallega, Vagalume, Arquero, Céltica and Faro de Vigo and in the magazines 'El Magisterio Español', 'Escuela Española', 'Poesía Hispánica' and 'Poesía de Venezuela'. She also collaborated in the newspapers El Universal, Páginas y Vida and Letras de Caracas (Venezuela). She also collaborated in the news bulletin 'Hermandad en Galicia' and in the bulletin of the Galician Brotherhood of Caracas. In Galicia, she collaborated in the radio station 'Radio Nacional de España' in A Coruña with the radio programme 'Emisión Bazar' (1956-57).
