She is a Professor of Plastic Arts and Design and studied Interior Design at the School of Arts and Crafts. Before entering the Faculty of Fine Arts in 1960, she studied with Dolores Díaz Baliño, Mariano García Patiño and José Manaut Vigletti. After finishing Fine Arts in Madrid in 1965, she lived in Rome until 1968 improving his artistic knowledge. In 1968, she prepared her minor thesis ‘Labor artística e pedagógica’ and graduated in Fine Arts (Painting) at Complutense University in 1981. Two years later, she got a chair of Drawing for Schools of Arts and Crafts. In 1984, she finished her studies in the Faculty of Fine Arts and prepared her doctoral thesis. In 1986, she directed and made the set for the fashion show ‘Moda 86’ J. R. Peluqueros’ (Ciudad Real).

EXHIBITIONS:
1962: she got a medal at the First Painting and Sculpture Contest, County Council of A Coruña.
1963: she was awarded the extraordinary prize at the Fifth National Art Contest, Delegación de Cultura (A Coruña) and was selected at 'Cidade da Coruña' First National Painting Contest (A Coruña).
1964: Paular (Segovia), 'Rosa Moya Huerta' Prize, Silver Medal, County Council of Segovia and exhibition at ‘Palacio de Archivos y Bibliotecas’ (Segovia).
1965: she was awarded the first prize of the ‘Dirección Xeral de Belas Artes’, was selected to take in for ‘Roma’ Prize and exhibition at the Fine Art School (Madrid).
1970: First Art Biennial (Pontevedra).
1972: she was awarded the sports medal in Fine Arts and participated in the Contemporary Art National Exhibition in Granada.
1975: she carried out an exhibition at the Mudejar Pavillion (Seville) and was selected at the 'V Bienal del Deporte en las Bellas Artes' (Málaga) and 'Ciudad de Murcia' Prize.
1976: she exhibited her works in the homage to Zabaleta and participated at 'Ciudad de Huesca ' Second National Painting Biennial.
1981: 'Ocho Pintores' (Ciudad Real).
1982: Espí Gallery, Torrelavega (Santander).
1983: Gallery of the School of Arts and Crafts (Ciudad Real).
1984: he was awarded the Plastic Art National Prize (Ciudad Real) and was invited to take part in the Sixth International Biennial of Pontevedra'. She participated in the exhibition of Solana Gallery (Madrid) and was selected in the 'VIII Bienal del Tajo' (Toledo). She also particpated in the National Exhibition of Alcázar de San Juan and made the poster for the 12th Christmas National Contest in Ciudad Real.
1985: she created 'Arje' with Solana, Zuloaga and participated in the following exhibitions: Caja de Ahorros de Salamanca (Palencia), Navarrete Gallery, 'El Mudo' and Caja de Ahorros de La Rioja (Logroño). Besides, she was awarded the second prize of the County Council of Ciudad Real.
1986: ‘El Desnudo’, Alfama Gallery (Madrid); Caixa de Aforros (A Coruña); Pazo de Sobrellano, Comillas (Santander); Caja de Ahorros (Cuenca and Ciudad Real); 'Mostra de Arte Plásticas das Mulleres Galegas' (A Coruña). Besides, she was selected at the National Drawing Contest, County Council of Guadalajara.
