Curriculum

He studied Romance Philology (Spanish section) at the University of Santiago de Compostela.

He worked as a teacher of Spanish and Galician Language in private schools from 1976 to 1984.

In 1984, he obtained a post as teacher of Primary Education in Barcelona and stayed in Catalonia for nine years until 1993. It was then that he moved to Galicia, where he is still working at “Luís Pimentel” School in Lugo.

In 2013 he was awarded a prize for his poem “Romance dos dous Xosés” (“XXXVIII Premio Nacional de Poesía sobre Navidad, "José Domínguez Guizán" Cultural Centre, Begonte, Lugo).
