EXPERIENCE:
-Member of the Pipe Band of Lugo County Council from 1987 to 1994.
-Member of ‘Raíces da Nosa Terra’ Pipe Group in Palas de Rei since 1990.
-Member of ‘Cántigas e Frores’ Pipe Group since 1993.
-Teacher of Pipe and Percussion at ‘Divino Maestro’ School in Lugo from 1996 to 2000.
-Foundation member of ‘Caldaloba’ Group that edited ‘As Cores da Música’ (Sons Galiza).
-Member of ‘Os Miñotos’. This traditional pipe quartet carried out an outstanding performance in Oiartzun – Guipúzcoa (Herri Musitaren Txokoa) because of the Spring Concert and at the Pipe and Drum School of Alberite (La Rioja) in Spring 2004.
-Teacher of Pipe and Percussion and director of the Pipe Band of ‘Cántigas e Frores’ Cultural Association in Lugo since 1994.
-Teacher of Pipe and Percussion at ‘Parafusa’ Association in Nadela (Lugo) from 1998 to 2001.
-Teacher of Pipe Techniques at the 16th Course on Galician Folklore, celebrated in Lugo at Easter 1998.
-Teacher of pipe at ‘Aulos’ Music School in Lugo since 1998.
-Teacher of Pipe Techniques in the 27th Course on Galician Folklore, celebrated in Lugo at Easter 1999.
-Teacher of Pipe and Percussion and director of the Pipe Band of ‘Peleriños’ Cultural Association in Sarria since 1999.
-Teacher of Pipe and Percussion in the neighbour association of Montirón (Lugo) from 1999 to 2002.
-Teacher of Pipe, Percussion and traditional dance and director of the ‘cantareiras’ and the Pipe Band of ‘Virxe da Cela’ Cultural Association in Monfero (A Coruña) since 2000.
-Teacher of Pipe Techniques in the 28th Course on Galician Folklore, celebrated in Lugo at Easter 2000.
-Teacher of Pipe at the Music School of Sarria from November 2000 to September 2002.
-Teacher of Pipe Techniques in the 19th Course on Galician Folklore, celebrated in Lugo at Easter 2001.
-He participated in several didactic concerts with ‘Caldaloba’ and ‘Os Miñotos’, approaching Galician traditional music to many Primary and Secondary schools all around Galicia.
-Teacher of Pipe and Traditional Percussion at ‘Veleiro Docampo’ School in Castro Ribeiras do Lea (Castro de Rei - Lugo) from October 2001 to June 2003.
-Teacher of Pipe Techniques in the 20th Course on Galician Folklore, celebrated in Lugo during Easter 2002.
-Member of the Spanish General Society of Authors and Editors.
-Teacher of Pipe and Percussion at ‘Meigas e Trasgos’ Association in Sarria (Lugo) from October 2002 to August 2007.
-Teacher of Pipe and Percussion at ‘Penas de Rodas’ Association in Gaioso - Outeiro de Rei (Lugo) from February 2003 to August 2005.
-President of the jury of the “III Concurso de Gaitas do País” (Sarria, 28th September 2003), organised by ‘Meigas e Trasgos’ Association in Sarria.
-Artistic director of ‘Cántigas e Frores’ Cultural Association since 2003. He organised the homage to ‘Os Montes’ and the ‘60th Anniversary Show’, both of them included in the celebration of the 60th anniversary of this association.
-Teacher of Pipe and Traditional Percussion at ‘Mencer’ Cultural Association in Castro Ribeiras de Lea (Castro de Rei - Lugo) from June 2003 to 2008.
-Teacher of Pipe and conductor of the Pipe Band at the Music School of Meira since October 2003.
-President of the jury of the “IV Concurso de Gaitas do País” (Sarria, 25th September 2004) organised by ‘Meigas e Trasgos’ Association in Sarria.
-Teacher of Pipe and Chamber Music at the Music Conservatoire of Vilalba (Lugo) since October 2004.
-Participant in the concerts of the Symphonic Band of the Terra Chá (2005).
-President of the jury of the “V Concurso de Gaitas do País” (Sarria, 17th September 2005), organised by ‘Meigas e Trasgos’ Association in Sarria.
-Teacher of the Course on Galician Pipe Technique and Performance, Conservatoire of Ourense (18th and 19th April 2006).
-Teacher of instruments of Galician traditional music at the Primary School of Baamonde – Begonte during the school year 2007-2008.
-Teacher of Galician traditional percussion at Fingoy School in Lugo during the school year 2007-2008.
-Teacher of pipe and Galician traditional percussion at the Music School of Becerreá since 2007.
-Teacher in the course “Os ritmos tradicionais galegos no ensino da música e da educación física” within the summer course “Música e Danza na Educación”, organised by the University of Santiago de Compostela from 14 to 17 July 2008.
-Teacher of pipe at Tradescola, the traditional music and dance school managed by the Association of Galician Pipers.
-Member of the Association of Galician Pipers.
