He entered the Agustinian convent and worked as a lector of Arts and Moral in Valladolid. In 1750, he was appointed to the Philippines and filled the office of provincial prior.
He wrote the following books: Respuesta apologética al Memorial del Señor Arzobispo de Manila, Consulta canónica sobre elecciones regulares and Respuesta a la real cédula de 1767, where he defends the teaching of the religious instruction to the Indians in Spanish language.
