After taking his degree in Medicine, he entered the Medical Corps. He joined the Republican Party and after retiring, he devoted himself to literature.

 Work & Activities

He wrote Poesías (1878), Soazes d’un vello (1886), the legend Afrenta, daga y venera, the novel Por un retrato and Contiños (1888), a series of compositions of manners, in which he collected country customs, festivities, pilgrimages and landscapes.
