He was known as the 'second priest of Fruíme'. He was taken to prison in the Dominican convent of Herbón during the Peninsular War and was present in the list of the ecclesiastic and civil deported to the Canary Islands in 1820 although he was excluded in the very last moment.

 Work & Activities

He wrote poems, mediating on nature such as La mañana en el campo and La entrada del invierno, where he combined the rationalist worry of the Neoclassicism with the romantic aspect of the emotion of nature and landscape.
