UNIVERSITY ACTIVITY

• From 1990/91 to 1994/95 he worked as an associate Professor of Administrative Law in the Faculty of Law (University of A Coruña)

• From 15th March 1999 to 4th August 2008 he was a member of the social council of the University of A Coruña.

• From 4th August 2008 up to date:

-President of the social council of the University of A Coruña.

-Vice-president of the University of A Coruña Foundation.

-Member of the executive committee of the Conference of Social Councils of the Spanish public universities.

-Member of the Patronage and president of the Commission of documents and projects of “Fundación C y D - Conocimiento y Desarrollo”.

PRIVATE ACTIVITY

• From 26th July 2001 to 20th June 2012 he was consultant of Banco Gallego, (president of the audit committee from 17th September 2003 to 19th October 2007)

• From 1st March 1989 up to date:

-Secretary general and secretary of the board and regulatory compliance officer of Inditex S.A. (Zara) and the various firms that constitute Inditex Group.

-Vice-president of the FMRE (Forum of Spanish Renowned Brands)

-Patron and secretary of Amancio Ortega Gaona Foundation.

-Member of the executive committee of the Chamber of Commerce of A Coruña, the board of the APD (Association for Management Progress in Galicia), the Business Group of the European Retail Round Table (ERRT), the European Branded Clothing Alliance (EBCA) and the European Round Table of Industrialists (ERT).
