He took a degree in History and worked as a teacher in Baamonde, Becerreá, Mondoñedo and Monterroso and was the headmaster of Santo Ángel School in Rábade. At the moment, he is working as a member of “Preescolar na Casa”.
He is a member of the programme “Preescolar na Casa” on TVG and “Club de Opinión” on Radio Lugo-Cadena SER.
He collaborates in El Progreso and IRIMIA.

 Work & Activities

He is a joint author of “Educación no rural galego”.
He was awarded the first prize of articles about education (Institute of Education Sciences - University of Santiago de compostela) for his article “E Platón sentouse diante do televisor”.
He collaborated as a lecturer in several conferences about education: Sanxenxo 2006: “Tempo de infancia, tempo de familia”; Madrid 2004: “Familia Espacio de Solidaridad” and Segovia 2007: “La ciudad educadora”.
He usually collaborates with articles in the magazine “Preescolar na Casa”.

 Other Interesting Aspects

In his work as an educator, he gives talks for parents, courses and seminars about education.
As a member of “Preescolar na Casa” Foundation, he participated in the lecture of the Commission for the Equality and Rights of Women in the Galician Parliament (III-2007).
